Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you based?
Our home studio is based in Rushden, Northamptonshire. As our studio is also our home, we will send out our exact address when a booking is complete. There is off-road parking available for several vehicles.
Can I reach you by public transport?
Our nearest train station is Wellingborough. Bus services to Rushden are fairly frequent around Northamptonshire. We can offer advice and guidance on how to get us better if you message us directly and ask for further assistance.
Do I pay a deposit?
No. Full payment is taken upon completion of a booking. We cannot hold dates until full payment has been received.
How do I pay?
Once you have contacted us and a date has been arranged, we will send you information on how to make a payment to confirm your booking. We accept payment via bank transfer or PayPal.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange my photoshoot?
Please contact us as soon as you can. If you cancel your booking with more than 24 hours notice then we will be happy to rearrange an alternative date. Refunds will only be offered if we (Jukebox Beauties) need to cancel the photoshoot.
Do you do hair and make-up?
Currently, no. This may be a service we resume in the future. At this point we would thoroughly recommend that hair and make-up is completed before your arrival. We are happy to give advice and tips beforehand.
Can I buy extra edited photographs?
Yes. Additional edits are available for £20 each regardless of the photography package you have booked. There are no limits to the amount of extra edits you can buy.
What clothing should I bring?
If you have booked onto one of our themed shoot days, you should bring clothing appropriate to the theme. For a pinup photoshoot we would recommend you bring a selection of clothes that you feel fits the 1950’s pin-up look along with your own stockings/hold-ups and heels to complete the look. Swing dresses, wiggle dresses, pencil skirts, petticoats etc are a good starting point.
For burlesque or boudoir photoshoots we would recommend that you bring a range of lingerie, heels, corsets etc. We are more than happy to help advise you before your photoshoot if you would like assistance, just get in touch and ask.
Do you have any clothes I can wear?
We have a limited selection of vintage and reproduction clothes in sizes 8-16. This selection is limited, so we’d recommend you bring your own, but you are most welcome to use what we do have.
Can I bring a chaperone?
Yes. Bringing someone along for support is most welcome. We would advise that this is limited to just a single person due to space restrictions in our studio. We cannot accommodate dogs and young children.
Do you have props available to use?
Yes. For our themed shoot days we will have a range of suitable props available for you to use. For Jukebox Classic Shoots you will have access to our full prop box. You are also welcome to bring your own props too.
What will I learn In regards to the mentoring?
All of our photoshoots feature pin-up posing and facial expression tuition from professional model Vintage Doll Laura. You learn how to pose your entire body in flattering ways that accentuate your features.
Your prices are so low, what’s the catch?
No catch at all. We do not pressure you into buying expensive prints, albums or edits. The prices listed are the prices you will pay.
